Job Description

The Inside Sales Account Executive will be motivated, sales driven, success focused and will work directly with businesses to provide them with powerful solutions to their advertising needs across a variety of platforms. The position is responsible for increasing revenue through the development of new and existing relationships (with emphasis on new business development) and meeting specific sales targets.

Responsibilities

This job will challenge you to: • Seek out opportunities to drive incremental sales and new business opportunities using personal contacts, the telephone, email and social media • Analyze clients’ and prospects’ advertising and marketing needs and consultatively recommend appropriate solutions to grow their business, quote rates and schedule marketing programs • Meet and exceed sales goals • Build and maintain strong client relationships • Stay current with industry trends, digital / print marketing techniques that can be applied to current and prospective clients.

Qualifications

You are the right fit if you: • Demonstrate results in the solution-based selling process • Have the ability to make sales presentations and close sales over the phone • Manage pipeline with available tools and provide forecasts to management • Thrive in a very fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines • Are self-motivated with willingness/ability to do frequent calls for new business prospecting • Have the ability to work a 25-hour workweek (M-F 9am-3:00pm) • Possess excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Digital Sales Executive

Mission:

To assist in bringing traditional advertising and electronic media together in a teamwork atmosphere in order to generate successful and profitable long lasting online advertising campaigns achieving incremental revenue.

Overview:

The Digital Sales Executive is responsible for growing Electronic Media Revenue based on the sale of Interactive products and services. They work to maintain / grow a regular account base through direct contact with local business owners and managers.

The person in this position will adhere to the philosophy of “consultant selling.” Their primary job is to see that prospective clients are met in order to ascertain their needs, and find ways to address those needs through the company’s On-line Digital resources.

The Digital Sales Executive will have goals as to the number of outside calls that should be performed in a given week, as well as the number of sales closed as a result of those calls.  The number of sales calls shall be determined by the closing ratio necessary to achieve the required sales target.  Call reports are essential to this process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute mission of the company’s digital vision within areas of responsibility.
  • Meet personal and individual sales goals as outlined by management.

The Digital Specialist is responsible for growing Electronic Media Revenue based on the sale of Interactive products and services.

The person in this position will adhere to the philosophy of “consultant selling.” Their primary job is to see that prospective clients are met in order to ascertain their needs, and find ways to address those needs through the company’s On-line Digital resources.

The Specialist will have goals as to the number of outside calls that should be performed in a given week, as well as the number of sales closed as a result of those calls.  The number of sales calls shall be determined by the closing ratio necessary to achieve the required sales target.  Call reports are essential to this process.

This person will also act as a “New Media” advocate/liaison to the regular sales team. This may include providing guidance, training, and support in helping traditional sales people learn more about Interactive marketing and the presenting of digital solutions to their customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Meet personal and individual sales goals as outlined by management.
  • Work with assigned company’s traditional media salespeople in helping them learn more about Interactive marketing, and the presenting of Interactive advertising solutions to their customers.
  • The Digital Sales Specialist is expected to schedule and execute a number of joint sales calls with representatives of their assigned company’s traditional media sales force
  • A Digital Specialist should be present on 4-legged calls and offer advice when certain higher level digital services like SEO, SMS, Visibility bundles and building new websites are presented to clients. A list of these items should be determined and updated by property as referenced to sales performance and improvements in individual sales exec product knowledge.
  • Become highly trained, and able to educate others on pre assigned specific revenue generating products and platforms, incorporated within the company’s digital service resources.
  • Being an advocate for all company’s Interactive products or services that includes appearances at events, functions and area meetings.
